Recreation and Leisure

Join the fun! Be part of a variety of later-afternoon-to-early-evening and Saturday events – shopping, crafting, cooking, sporting events, movies, concerts, to name a few. You’ll have a great time along with supporting the participants. We ask for a commitment of 2 events/month (more frequent involvement is welcomed!).

Day Services

Have a special interest or talent you want to share? Gardening, computer classes, cooking, crafting? Or maybe you’d like to assist our professional staff in a variety of different activities both within our facility and within our local communities during the day.

Mutual Volunteers in Partnership (MVP)

Want to share the volunteer experience? As an MVP, you’ll be matched with an individual with similar interests and availability allowing you to experience and enjoy volunteering while building relationships, breaking down stereotypes and mentoring individuals with disabilities to feel more a part of their community.

Educational Presentations

We invite and welcome presentations from businesses and/or business leaders on the world of work - sharing your expertise on what is important for a successful employment relationship. We appreciate any business wanting to showcase its operations by providing tours to individuals interested in learning about community employment.

Special Events

Fish Day Run/Walk, Mother’s Day Plant Sale, Golf Triathlon, Holiday Cookie/Bake Sale
Throughout the year, we hold several special events that rely on a multitude of volunteers. You can help with a run/walk with over 1,100 participants, sell a beautiful plant, assist golfers, and bake your special holiday cookies. Your donation of just a few hours greatly assists with these activities.
